Invention relates to the field of medical microbiology and particularly to methods for detecting Mycoplasma hominis infection in humans. The method provides cultivation of mycoplasmas in a specific medium containing peptone, sodium chloride, yeast extract, animal blood serum, arginine, thallium acetate, agar, penicillin and human placental infusion in given ratio. This medium stimulates growing rate and intensity of a culture and therefor it is useful for early diagnosing the infection.
