PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively join a horizontal member and a column or the like with compact constitution by arranging a pin hole for joining a first horizontal member and the column and a bolt hole for fastening the first horizontal member and a second horizontal member. SOLUTION: When joining a first horizontal member 22 of a sill or the like and a column 21, a lower part of a column base metallic material 1 is fitted in an inserting object recessed part 25 of the horizontal member 22, and after making a pin hole 2 of the column base metallic material 1 coincide with a connecting hole 27 of the horizontal member 22, a pin is driven by penetrating through the connecting hole 27 and the hole 2 to fix the column base metallic material 1 to the horizontal member 22. An inserting object recessed part 24 of a leg part of the column 21 and the column base metallic material 1 are fitted, and after making the pin hole 2 of the column base metallic material 1 coincide with a connecting hole 26 of the leg part of the column 21, the pin is driven by penetrating through the connecting hole 26 and the hole 2 to join the horizontal member 22 and the column 21. When joining the horizontal member 22 and a second horizontal member by a second horizontal member fastening metal fitting, the metal fitting is fastened by a bolt-nut penetrating through a bolt hole of the column base metallic material 1 and a bolt hole 28 of the horizontal member 22 to be thereby inexpensively joined.
