PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inspect the quality of the affixed section of a flexible packaging material by a gluing-affixing machine by illuminating a photographing region including the affixed section of the flexible packaging material, imaging the image pick-up region by receiving a mirror reflection from the flexible packaging material, and then, judging whether the affixed section is correct or not based on the image data. SOLUTION: Light from a light source 3 is transmitted through an optical fiber, and after converging by a converging lens 5, the light is advanced in the perpendicular direction by a mirror 6 and a half mirror 7 in order, and a flexible packaging material 11 is illuminated. The reflection light from the flexible packaging material 11 is received by an image forming lens 2, and imaged by an area sensor camera 1. In this case, the flexible packaging material 11 is illuminated by parallel beams so that the image pick-up region may become coaxial with an imaging system, and mirror reflection light from every section of the image pick-up region can be fed to the area sensor camera 1. Therefore, even in a case wherein the image pick-up region is wide, the device can be favorably used. Then, based on the image data, whether the affixed section of the flexible packaging material 11 is correct or not is judged.
