PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain a difference between upper and lower temperatures which are different from each other depending upon blow-out modes in an air conditioner for vehicles in which a cooled air bypassing door for adjusting the quantity of the cooled air bypassing a heat exchanger for heating is interlocked with a hot water valve. SOLUTION: The high temperature side portion of the blown out air temperature of a heat exchanger for heating 13 is arranged on the side of a foot opening section 23, and each of the low temperature side portions of the blown out air temperature of the heat exchanger for heating 13 is arranged at a face opening section 21 and on te side of a defroster opening section 19. A cooled air bypassing passage 15, in which conditioned air flows bypassing the heat exchanger for heating 13, is arranged on the high temperature side of the blown out air of the heat exchanger for heating 13, and the passage 15 is provided with a cooled air bypassing door 16 opened and closed interlocking with a hot water valve 14. The cooled air flowing into the foot opening section 23 from the cooled air bypassing passage 15 is adjusted by opening and closing an air guide passage 16 by the auxiliary door section 22b integrated into the face door 22 interlocking with the switching of upper and lower blow out modes.
