PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device of manufacturing a friction member such as a disk pad which is free burrs, or capable of easily removing burrs even when the burrs are attached. SOLUTION: A projecting part 11 formed so as to come into contact with an upper die is provided on an upper surface 3 of a frame die 1. Since a dropped piece 51 or a leaked stuff 52 is compressed by the projecting part 11 and a back plate, no compression is made by a plane, or the compressive force can be very small compared with the conventional value even when the compressive force by the plane is applied, and no burrs are generated by compressing the dropped piece 51 or the leaked stuff 52, or even if burrs occur, they can easily be removed.
