PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cut the protective sheet in a laminate comprising base layers, a kneaded material, and the protective sheet along the boundary between the base layers efficiently. SOLUTION: In a cutting device equipped with a receiving member 70, a cutter 90 arranged at an upstream position separated by a distance L equal to the length of a base layer 2 from the member 70, and a moving body 40 which reciprocates freely along a conveyance path P, when the front end of the front base layer 2 contacts there receiving member 70, the moving body 40 is moved with a laminate in the downstream direction, a cutter 90 is moved in the breadth direction of the conveyance path P, and a protective sheet 15 is cut along the boundary between the rear end of the front base layer 2 and the front end of the succeeding base layer 2.
