<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make harmless an exhaust gas which contains harmful gases and discharged from a process efficiently at a low running cost while securing safety by decomposing/absorbing the exhaust gas by bringing the exhaust gas contact with an organic base aqueous solution. SOLUTION: When an exhaust gas treatment apparatus 1 is used, a gas-liquid contact part 3 is set in a wet scrubber 2, and an absorbing liquid is sprayed from the upper part of the part 3 through an absorbing liquid spray pipe 4. An exhaust gas containing harmful gases is introduced from the lower part of the contact part 3 through an exhaust gas introduction pipe 5, the harmful gases are decomposed/absorbed by/in the absorbing liquid and retained in a column bottom, and the detoxified gases are discharged from a column top. The absorbing liquid retained in the column bottom is sprayed again through a spray pipe 4 by an absorbing liquid circulating pump 6. The absorbing liquid is circulated to absorb the harmful gases until a prescribed concentration or pH is obtained and discharged little by little through an absorbing liquid discharge pipe 8. The new absorbing liquid is supplied through an absorbing liquid supply pipe 7.</p> |
