PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide new amorphous calcium phosphate composite particles which maintain excellent effects of amorphous calcium phosphate and further maintain good feeling without giving creaky feeling when the particles are used in a base make cosmetic or a cosmetic, which is applied and extended on the skin, such as eye shadow, lipstick or the like, a method for effectively producing the same and a cosmetic using such composite particles. SOLUTION: The composite particles are obtained by coating the surface of each scale-like or flat plate-like base particle with fine particles of the amorphous calcium phosphate. The composite particles are produced by adding a phosphorous component into a suspension of the base particles and a calcium component while stirring and then reacting them. The cosmetic contains at least the composite particles thus obtained.
