PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To true up a material mounted on a feeder to be surely in parallel (a reference position) to a center line. SOLUTION: A material M is lifted by a material feeding and reshuffling device and then moved to the lateral direction of a feeder 13 by a set moving distance set preliminarily by the feeding and reshuffling device, even when the material M is laid diagonally with respect to the conveying direction on a supporting roller 19 of the feeder 13 for conveying-in and -out to a cutter. The material M abuts thereby surely to a reference face SL provided in the feeder 13 to be positioned in parallel to a center line.
