PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a timing signal generating device for a servo press with is capable of easily setting the specified position on a slide motion curve, and unnecessitates re-setting the slide stroke length even when it is changed. SOLUTION: A timing date setting part 3 having a display part 2 to display a preset slide motion curve 4 and a touch switch 5 to display ON and OFF of the preset value for the action necessary for the timing signal is provided, ON-cursors 7, 7A and OFF-cursors 8, 8A which are displayed by touching the touch switch 5 are positionally adjusted in the vertical direction by an vertical movement key 9, the data displayed on the touch switch 5 is made to coincide with the requested data, and when an OK key 10 is pressed, the data can be set. A set range can be selected three times both in the lowering range and the elevating range as displayed by a hold line according to same/reverse position of the ON-cursors 7, 7A and the OFF-cursors 8, 8A.
