PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make diagnosis (prognosis) the presence/absence or extent of a disease, alteration to nidus by detecting the transverse relaxation time (T2 value) at a region for diagnosis including blood and providing the T2 value as an image which is processed, so as to enable recognition of normal or abnormal state at a glance. SOLUTION: This equipment is provided with a scanning means for collecting echo signals by scanning the same region of a subject several times under imaging conditions, including pulse sequences which have echo intervals ETS which is different for each sequence, an image data generating means for generating image data based on the echo signals for every scanning, a T2 calculating means for calculating a T2 value (transverse relax time) along the distribution of blood based on a plurality of image data, and a display means for importing gradation of the distribution of T2 values with luminance or hues corresponding to the size of T2.
