摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the connecting structure of an exhaust manifold and an air intake pipe, capable of air tightly connecting the air intake pipe to the exhaust port pipe in the location of an exhaust flange near a cylinder head while employing a structure for relieving the stress of the exhaust manifold caused by thermal deformation. SOLUTION: The branch pipe 15a of an air intake pipe is connected to an exhaust port pipe 12 by welding holder nut 16 inside the exhaust port pipe 12, and then holding the tip of the branch pipe 15a of the air intake pipe between the tip of a holder 17 and the lower inner edge portion 16a of the holder nut 16. Thus, even if thermal deformation occurs in the exhaust port pipe 12, the loss of airtightness between the branch pipe 15a of the air intake pipe and the exhaust port pipe 12 is prevented.
