PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a common salt composition usable for effective ingestion of trace elements, calcium, iodine and the like essential for daily life in good valance. SOLUTION: This edible salt composition comprises (a) calcium acetate formed by heating calcium carbonate to 150-300 deg.C, and adding acetic acid thereto, (b) a mixture of a common salt with a seaweed powder obtained by adding the seaweed powder to the common salt, mixing them, and heating the obtained mixture until a part of the seaweed powder is carbonized, (c) a bittern, and (d) a marine mineral obtained by evaporating water from sea water. |
