VALVE GATE TYPE MOLD APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an accuracy and characteristics of a molded product by making a flow of a resin from a gate to a product cavity more uniform. SOLUTION: A valve pin 32 for opening and closing a gate 14 is always engaged with a valve pin support hole 29 formed at a front end of a valve casing 26 at the gate 14 side. A plurality of grooves 31 are spirally formed at a periphery of the hole 29 to feed a resin. Thus, since the grooves 31 are spiral, a flow of the resin flowing from the groove 31 to the gate 14 is agitated and hence a deviation of the flow of the resin caused by the divided grooves 13 is alleviated. Thus, the flow of the resin from the gate 14 to a product cavity 3 is made more uniform.
