PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the limitation in designing and bring a detachable waste ink absorbing member into close contact with a waste ink discharging opening. SOLUTION: A waste ink discharging opening 10 for dropping a waste ink discharged from a head 18 according to a head recovering mechanism is provided on the bottom surface of a printer unit 5. A slope part 16 is provided on the lower surface deeper side of a waste ink absorbing member storage part 17 disposed therebelow. When a waste ink absorbing member 7 in the state stored inside a storage case 11 is inserted from the rear side of an electronic appliance main body 30, the storage case 11 is pushed upward along the slope part 16 so that the upper surface of the waste ink absorbing member 7 is pressed against the waste ink discharging opening 10 provided on the bottom surface of the ink-jet printer 5 so as to come into close contact. |
