PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accommodation type slide seat for a car slidable in a forward/backward direction in usage and extremely able to refuge in accommodation at a reduced cost by a simple constitution. SOLUTION: In the slide seat, slide guide rails 12 having guide grooves 12a extending in a forward/backward direction are provided on both sides of a seat portion 11 and free ends 13a of front legs 13 pivotally supported to a floor 17 in a forward/backward direction are engaged with the guide grooves 12a. At the time of an accommodation, the seat portion 11 is pivoted to a position contacting with the floor 17 through the front leg 13 and the free ends 13a of the front leg 13 slide in the guide grooves 12a and the seat portion 11 to forwardly move a seat back portion 20. In states other than the state that the free ends 13a of the front leg 13 are forwardly pivoted, it is engaged with a front end of the guide groove 12a by an engaging portion 12c and in a forwardly pivoted state, an engagement is released and it slides in the guide groove 12a. The seat portion 11 is provided with a lock 11a engaged with one of a plurality of lock strikers 19 fixed and disposed in a forward/rearward direction against a floor surface near a rear end.
