PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method for a building foundation by which the construction period and cost can be reduced and further the building foundation can be stabilized. SOLUTION: An external shape form of a cavity having the same shape with a building foundation to be constructed is set on the bottom of a groove 2 excavated in an area 1 where the building foundation is to be constructed thereafter, improved soil in slurry in which soil excavated from the groove 2 and an improving setting agent are mixed and kneaded is backfilled in the groove 2 and cured to form an improved ground. Then, the external form is removed, and reinforcements for the building foundation assembled on the ground is installed in the cavity formed by removing the external form and then, concrete is placed in the cavity to construct the building foundation.
