PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a heat exchanger high in productivity while keeping the heat conductive performance by simultaneously achieving the corrugation and grooving of a flat fin of the width equivalent to the diameter of one pipe, press-fitting the pipe in the groove so as to be fixed to the fin, pressing a pair of structures comprising the pipe and the fin opposite to each other, and fixing the fin to the pipe. SOLUTION: A fin F1 is corrugated so that the width of a groove G1 of the fin F1 is equal to or slightly smaller than the diameter of a pipe P1. A metal piece W1 produced in grooving the groove G1 is not separated from the fin F1 but contributed to the heat exchange as the fin. The pipe P1 is press- fitted in the groove G1. Similarly, a pipe P2 is press-fitted in a groove G2 of a fin F2. Insertion pieces M1, M2 forming the grooves G1, G2 are press-fitted in the counter grooves G2, G1, and the pipes P1, P2 is integratedly brought into contact with the fins F1, F2 and fixed thereto. The width of the insertion pieces M1, M2 is equal to or slightly larger than the width of the grooves G1, G2.
