PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain towel cloth having soft and kind touch feeling for the skin, excellent in pile-up property, morphological retention and stability and well displaying permeability, hygroscopic property and divergence of sweat or the like. SOLUTION: This towel cloth comprises a towel cloth A composed of single- sided pile structure or double-side pile structure and having tall piles 2 and short piles 3 on a base cloth 1 wherein arrays of the short piles 3 are arranged alternately or each several arrays to arrays of the tall piles 2, the tall pile fiber consists of soft fiber and the short pile fiber consists of fiber having more shape retention than the tall pile fiber. |
