PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealer of a packaging machine which can be applied respectively to a side seal and a down-folding seal of a package. SOLUTION: The sealer of a packaging machine comprises a sealer unit including a heater block 46 and an air cylinder 42, and a support unit supporting the sealer unit, wherein the support unit has a pair of rotary arms 102 for rotatably supporting the sealer unit. Rotation of the rotary arms 102 selectively changes over a posture of the sealer unit to either a vertical posture for applying a side seal or a horizontal posture for applying a down-folding seal. |
