PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the shelf life of a material itself and the storage stability and durability of an image by making a dye fixer contained at least in one layer in a region wherein a protective layer constituted of a plurality of resin layers is provided by coating. SOLUTION: A plurality of layers constituting a region of a protective layer need only to have a constitution wherein the protective layer to be transferred onto an image receiving layer is constituted of a plurality of resin layers, or a constitution of the protective layer and a release layer, a constitution of an adhesive layer and the protective layer, a constitution of the adhesive layer/the protective layer/the release layer, or the like. The resin to be used for the protective layer is advisably of the same kind of material as that of the image receiving layer, from the viewpoint of enhancing the adhesion to the image receiving layer. As to the region of the protective layer at least one release layer is provided advisably for enhancing release characteristics between the protective layer and a substrate. A dye fixer made to be contained at least in one of the layers constituting the region of the protective layer, for the purpose of facilitating reaction of a dye precursor not yet reacting in the image receiving layer, is advisably made to be contained in the layers constituting the region except the outermost one. |
