<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a paving material excellent in flow resistance, etc., by incorporating waste toner in asphalt, with the result that such waste toner is utilized. SOLUTION: This paving material is obtained by incorporating 1-10 pts.wt. of waste toner in 100 pts.wt. of asphalt. In this paving material, the binding resin included in the waste toner raises the grip force and tackiness to the aggregate in the paving material to effect increasing the mechanical strength of the asphalt; therefore, the flow resistance, abrasion resistance and resistance to crack of this paving material are also improved, and such waste toner which has been discarded so far can be utilized as a component of paving materials as well.</p> |
