<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a control method for driving an element and a scanning head capable of preventing color shift in an image even when a plurality of vibrations are generated in a driving mechanism in the case where an image is exposed or read by a plurality of elements attached to the scanning head. SOLUTION: A scanning movement of a scanning head is executed by a driving mechanism. A plurality of LED chips 80 arranged on the scanning head in the scanning direction exposes or reads an image. Adjacent LED chips 80 are provided such that a driving time difference for exposing or reading the image at an identical position between the adjacent LED chips 80 is set to be a value which is an integer multiple number of a least common multiple of a plurality of vibration cycles generated by the driving mechanism. As a result, it is possible to make each driving time difference to be an integer multiple number of the vibration cycle and make the amplitude of the vibration at the exposing by each of the LED chip 80 constant. Therefore, it is possible to completely superpose the exposing positions of the LED chips 80.</p> |
