PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To affix a label to a specified position straight without any deviation. SOLUTION: A carrying device 12 carries an object 96 to be affixed. A label feeding device 20 feeds a label to the object 96 to be carried by the carrying device 12. After one end part of the label is affixed to the object 96 by a press roller 34, a remaining part of the label is not affixed to the object 96, but fed when the object 96 is carried. Then, the remaining part of the label is pressed against the object 96 at one time, and affixed thereto. The label is pressed and affixed using a label pressing body 30 as a label pressing means and the press rollers 34, 36. The label pressing body 30 and the pressing rollers 34, 36 are positioned with respect to the object 96 by a cylinder 20 as a displacing means.
