ELASTOMER COMPOSITION AND THERMOPLASTIC RESIN COMPOSITION INCLUDING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare an elastomer composition useful as an impact resistance- improving agent by including a specific block copolymer and a specific graft copolymer in a specific content ratio. SOLUTION: The objective elastomer composition is prepared by including (A) 1-99 wt.% block copolymer having (i) a methacrylic polymer unit and (ii) an isobutylene-based polymer unit, and (B) 99-1 wt.% graft copolymer having (iii) a polymer unit having <25 deg.C glass transition temperature and (iv) a polymer unit having >=25 deg.C glass transition temperature. The ingredient A preferably is a diblock copolymer and/or triblock copolymer. The ingredient A preferably has 30,000-500,000 number average molecular weight (Mn) and <=1.8 (Mw/Mn) (wherein, Mw shows weight average molecular weight; Mw/Mn is measured by gel permeation chromatography). The ingredient B preferably is a core shell particle or the like having an inside layer (core part) comprising the component(iii) and an outside layer (shell part) comprising the component(iv).
