PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive sintered ore producing technique compatible between a high reducibility and a low reduced powdering property which is impossible to obtain in the conventional sintered ore producing technique. SOLUTION: A grate type agglomerate producing apparatus is used and oxygen-enriched air having 21-50 vol.% average oxygen content is blown into the front-half range 15 of the grate and circulated exhaust gas having 13-20 vol.% average oxygen content, in the circulated exhaust gas generated from the agglomerate producing apparatus, is blown into the rear-half range 16 of the grate. Based on the above producing method, the high quality sintered ore having >70% reduction index RI, <40% reduction degradation index RDI and >=67% strength in the cold-state TI, is produced. This sintered ore contributes to a high pulverized fine coal blowing operation, low silicon molten iron producing operation and low fuel ratio operation.
