PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect surely whether there is a space for moving a truck newly onto a storing lane by providing the arm for confirming so that its tip can make contact with the rear end of the truck on a storing lane and front/rear- moving the arm for confirming by an actuator to a truck transfer direction. SOLUTION: The cage 7 mounted a truck is confronted to a storing lane to store the truck. Prior to transfering the truck from the cage 7 of a stacker crane to the storing lane, by an actuator (rodless cylinder) 27, the arm main body 28 of an arm 26 for confirming and push out member 29 are stuck out to the storing lane and the stored truck on the storing lane is pushed out. Then, whether there is a space for transfering the truck onto the storing lane newly is confirmed by whether the arm main body 28 of the arm 26 for confirming can perform a full stroke.
