PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent a base from being arranged at a position high from the surface of a floor. SOLUTION: Concerning a base 1 provided with a pipe-shaped main body 11 of base arranged along a floor surface F and casters 8 for supporting this main body 11 of base so as to slide, caps 6 are mounted at opening ends 11a in the lengthwise direction of the main body 11 of base. Then, on the outer end side of these caps, casters 8 are integrally provided while arranging an upper wheel end 82x higher than a lower end 11x of the main body 11 of base.
