PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out antitumor treatment to leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, or the like, by administering a definite amount of partricin A and/or B derivative having selective toxicity to tumor cell to an animal, especially human for which antitumor treatment is required. SOLUTION: Partricin A and/or B derivative (preferably N- dimethylaminoacetylpartricin A2-dimethylaminoethylamide and its diascorbic acid salt) having selective toxicity to tumor cell, in a definite amount, preferably about 0.025-3 mg, more preferably about 0.15-1.5 mg/kg weight as daily dose by parenteral administration is administered to an animal, preferably mammal, especially human having tumor cell and/or readily susceptible to tumor and required antitumor treatment.
