摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To operate the subject mechanism with small force by constituting a brake lever of a shaft with a stopper at an upper part and a cylinder with a projection part in contact with the stopper at a lower part and making it freely extensible. SOLUTION: A brake piece 10 and the shaft 11 are pivotally supported in the state of being freely rotatable to a brake plate 12 and both of them are connected by a connecting plate 13 in the state of being freely rotatable. A spring 14 is engaged with the piece 10 and the plate 13. The shaft 11 is put through to a lever cylinder 15 and the stopper 16 is fixed to the upper end of the shaft 11. The inner diameter of the cylinder 15 is made a little longer than the outer diameter of the stopper 16 to enable the stopper 16 to slide. Then, a projection part 15a in contact with the stopper 16 is formed at the lower end part of the cylinder 15. when a grip 17 is gripped, the cylinder 15 is slid upward and rotated forward, the piece 10 pressurizes rear wheels to lock a brake. The brake is unlocked by opposite operation. Thus, the brake can be operated with small operating force.
