PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable, in a roll attachment, decrease in angle at which a paper cutter is opened and the facilitating of the attachment of the roll by imparting support parts a supporting structure, so that they can move holding claws obliquely in the direction of the front of a holder main body around the support parts. SOLUTION: A roll holder comprises a holder main body 2, which is attached to a wall so as to be holdable the core Pa of, for example, bath room tissue, side covers 4 which are integrated with a pair of sides 3 projecting forward from the holder main body, and holding claws 7, each of which is fitted on a support part 6 provided in the rear lower area of an opening made in the wall of each side cover 4. The holding claws 7 are supported on the respective support parts 6 so as to be movable obliquely in the direction of the front of the holder main body 2 around the respective support parts 6.
