PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fit a strap to a heat insulating container by enlarging the space between an outer container and the shoulder part of an inner container, and fitting a braid part to a position opposite to the space through a fixing member. SOLUTION: A space S between the upper end part of the drum part of an inner container and the shoulder part of an outer container 11 covering the container is made a little wider than the other region, so a fixing member 20 for fitting a braid part is disposed in a position opposite to such a wider region or in its vicinity in the radial direction of the main body. The fixing member 20 is a sheet metal member integrally having an outer plate part 21 and a fitting plate part 22, and a curved ring-like part 23 with a little forward gradient is formed between both plate parts 21, 22. A rib 24 is formed along the outer edge of the outer plate part 21, and a U-shaped inside part formed by the rib 24 is welded to integrally fix both plate parts 21, 22 to the outer container 11. Thus, mechanical strength can be increased.
