SURFACE COVER FOR HEADREST AND ITS MANUFACTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface cover for a headrest which can be finished into a product without wrinkles on the inner surface cover face of the curved part of the headrest taking the form of L on side view and a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: This surface cover for a headrest comprises a plurality of surface cover pieces sewn together into a bag shape and a foamed molding of the headrest is covered by integral molding of the surface cover. A seam line L1 where a portion near the doubled parts 11 of one of the surface cover pieces 1 folded with its patterned faces E opposite each other is sewn at the doubled part 11 along a folding line 12 is formed on the inner surface cover face C1 of the curved part C of the headrest which is in the form of L on side view.
