PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a residue of scorching odor of a plant residue at a product sheet by kneading a mixture containing the plant residue and a polyolefin resin as main materials in an atmospheric open state while heating to melt it, and molding it in a sheet-like state. SOLUTION: As the plant residue, bean curd lees of tofu, rice bran, brewer's grain or the like is used singly or in combination. As the polyolefin resin, a polypropylene, a polyethylene or the like is used. A powder particle-like polyolefin resin and powder-like plant residue generated by processing food are blended, for example, at a predetermined ratio of 60 wt.% or below of the residue to 100 wt.% of the polyolefin resin (step 100), the raw materials are regulated, and sufficiently kneaded by a Banbury mixer or the like (step 200) so that the residue is uniformly dispersed in the resin. The regulated material is guided to a calender, processed in a sheet-like state, and finally finished in a sheet thickness (step 300). Thus, scorching odor is dissipated into the atmosphere during rolling so that the odor is not retained in a product sheet. |
