PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation preventive mechanism positioning and fixing methods capable of reducing cost by reducing the number of part items by eliminating the necessity of pins, preventing the occurrence of deficiencies such as galling caused by press deformation of a scroll compressor on the side of front housing when mounting the scroll compressor and omitting a pin pressing process, causing no problem of cowing off of pins or the like. SOLUTION: In method for positioning and fixing the rotation preventive mechanism/thrust bearing member of a movable spiral body in a scroll compressor for refrigerating air conditioner, the movable spiral body and plate ad/or front housing and plate are relatively positioned and fixed by providing a projection 5 on the plate 1 of a rotation preventive member 50 by drawing and press- fitting the projection 5 into the mate member.
