SPINNING OF POLYESTER FIBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide both a method for spinning by which polyester fibers without unevenness of yarn quality can be obtained from pellets different in intrinsic viscosity and a method for spinning by which the plural polyester fibers different in the intrinsic viscosity can be obtained in one continuous polycondensation reactor without unevenness of quality. SOLUTION: This method for spinning polyester fibers is to mix two kinds of polyester pellets A and B different in intrinsic viscosity and spin the polyester fibers from a spinneret pack 11. In the process, the pressure in the spinneret pack 11 is detected at an interval of a prescribed time to calculate the deviation of a rate of change in the pressure in the spinneret pack 11 and the mixing ratio of the polyester pellets A and B is controlled corresponding to the resultant deviation to thereby carry out the spinning while keeping the pressure in the spinneret pack 11 constant.
