PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a cart unit from occupying a wide storing place by providing a cart with a link mechanism foldable into a narrow width. SOLUTION: This cart unit is constituted of side frames 11 on both sides, a center frame 12 and connecting materials 13, 14, 15 which connect these frames 11, 12 and are coupled by many pins and is provided with four casters 31. The connecting materials 13, 14, 15 are constituted so as to be oscillatable at horizontal attitude and inclined attitude close to perpendicularity and when the connecting materials 13, 14, 15 are horizontally located, the connecting materials 13, 14, 15 are made as supporting frames for shelves and baskets of the cart unit. When the connecting materials 13, 14, 15 are folded at inclined attitudes close to perpendicularity, space between side frames 11 on both sides becomes narrow and the width of the cart unit is reduced. The cart unit can be reduced into half or below in a width direction in its folded state as compared with a used state and requires half of storage floor area.
