PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide door position-regulating device for a vehicle absorbing dimensional tolerance and assembly tolerance even with generation thereof in a car body and a slide door, making engaging surfaces of a receiving/ engaging unit properly in adhesion to each other, and eliminating apprehension generating a noise and damaging. SOLUTION: In a slide door position-regulating device 6 for a vehicle provided with a receiving unit 7 on the side of a car body 1 and an engaging unit 8 on the side of a slide door 3 to position regulate the slide door 3, when it is closed, in the direction orthogonal to the opening/closing direction of the slide door by fit engaging an engaging protruded part 13 of the engaging unit 8 with an engaging recessed part 9 of the receiving unit 7, a protruded part 12 plastically deformable by a load of the prescribed value or more is provided to protrude in an engaging surface 11 or 14 of the engaging recessed part 9 or the engaging protruded part 13, and a clearance generated between the engaging surfaces 11, 14 is absorbed by plastic deformation of the protruded part 12.
