PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable presser provided with a new function for which a battery is a power source. SOLUTION: This and small-sized upper side and lower side bodies 1 and 2 are turnably supported by shaft parts 1a and 2a and energized so as to open one end edge by a spring 9. Both bodies are provided with pressing parts 4 and 5 provided with a planar heater in the inside, they are energized and heated through a switch 6 by the battery 12, the bodies 1 and 2 are pressurized with hands and clothes are clamped between the pressing parts 4 and 5 and pressed. By fitting a protective cap 11 in the state of closing the two bodies 1 and 2, carrying is made convenient. In addition, since a switch knob 6a is pressurized and slid by an end edge, the switch is automatically turned off at the time of housing. Also, the protective cap 11 clamps the folding or the like of the clothes by a slit 11a as a clip at the time of being detached and facilitates pressing work. Since the switch 6 of double-pole single-throw type of 2-circuit and 1-contact-point is adopeted, the heat of the heater is not made to reach the battery 12 at the time of being off.
