PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boiled egg shell cutter capable of forming neat grooves in the outer peripheral surface of an eggshell throughout its periphery. SOLUTION: This cutter 1 comprises a main body case 2 and a lid member 5. A recess 5b is formed in the lid member 5 and a holding roller 7 is disposed to press an egg E from above. Two supporting rollers 12 for supporting the lower part of the egg E and rotating the egg E are arranged in the main body case 5 in such a manner as to be supported by a shaft 11, and a knife 14 for forming grooves in the shell of the egg E is disposed between the supporting rollers 12 in such a manner as to be supported on a shaft 13. A spur gear 16 is attached to the shaft 11 of the supporting rollers 12 and a spur gear 17 which meshes with the spur gear 16 is attached to the shaft 13 of the knife 14 and connected to an electric motor 19 via a coupling 18. The electric motor 19 is actuated by means of a pushbutton switch attached to the main body case 2.
