PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hanger which not only enables personal effects to be surely and easily stored but also allows easy removal of clothes such as trousers or a skirt hooked to a hook element, while keeping the clothes from slipping off. SOLUTION: This hanger A comprises a hanger main body 1 provided with a hook element 5 capable of hooking clothes in an inverted U shape. A compartment 7 capable of storing small articles is freely vertically movably provided on the portion of the hanger main body 1 above the hook element 5, and a holding face 6 for the clothes hooked to the hook element 5 is formed on a part of the compartment 7.
