PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the light-resistance of a recording part by making a thermosensible recording layer contain hydroquinone monobenzyl ether and a hydroxydiphenyl sulfone compound as a coloring agent. SOLUTION: The rate of use of hydroquinone monobenzyl ether and a hydroxydiphenyl sulfone compound contained as a coloring agent in a thermosensible recording layer is not limited particularly. However, the hydroquinone monobenzyl ether is advisably about 5-20 wt.% to the hydroxydiphenyl sulfone compound. When the hydroquinone monobenzyl ether is less than about 0.5 wt.%, the possibility of lowering of the light-resistance of a recording part is brought about, and when it is more than about 30 wt.%, the possibility of occurrence of ground blushing is brought about. Although the amount of the specified coloring agent to be used is not particularly limited, it is advisably 5-40 wt.% to the thermosensible recording layer. As for leuco dye contained in this layer, each sort of well-known coloring leuco dye can be used. |
