PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the leaking of cold air from within a case while a night cover is pulled out for covering an opening in the upper face of a case main body. SOLUTION: This night cover device is so designed that a night cover is pulled forward from an automatic winding device for covering an opening in the upper face of a case main body and a latch 8 attached to the front edge frame 10 of the night cover 6 is latched to the front fence 5 of the case main body. The latch 8 attached to the front edge frame 10 of the night cover is in the form of a downward hook as fixing means for locking the night cover in a pullout position, and is hooked in an engagement groove 5a-1 formed in the end of a front cap 5a outside a easing, the front cap 5a being mounted on the top of the fence 5 of the case main body. The front edge frame 10 is held locked in a condition in which it lies on the front cap 5a to prevent the leaking of cold air.
