WATER CONTROL SYSTEM IN HILLSIDE PADDY FIELD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water control system capable of supplying a necessary and sufficient amount of water to each cultivation area in a hillside paddy field and reducing water consumption. SOLUTION: Water is supplied from a water supply tank 10 equipped with an automatic water supply valve 11 to a water supply and drainage unit 20 attached to a cultivation area 3. Surplus water of the cultivation area 3 is discharged from the water supply and drainage unit 20. The water supply and drainage unit 20 is furnished with a water level adjusting weir 24 for setting a water level in the cultivation area and a ball tap valve 25 vertically movable integrally with the weir. A pilot piping 18 of the automatic water supply valve 11 is connected to the ball tap valve 25. When the water level of the cultivation area 3 is dropped and the ball tap valve 25 is opened, the automatic water supply valve 11 is opened and water is supplied to the water supply tank 10. When the water level is raised and the ball tap valve 25 is closed, the automatic water supply valve 11 is closed and water supply to the water supply tank 10 is finished.
