PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify fitting work without the need of replacing a pull braid or the like by providing plural sets of a male member and a female member disposed on one side of a long flexible tape material close to the longitudinal direction at a space corresponding to the size of a pleat to be formed to continuously alternate with the male member and the female member in the longitudinal direction. SOLUTION: A drape forming tool 1 for an elevating curtain is sewn to the outdoor side of a curtain 2, taking the long side of the tape material 12 as the vertical direction to be used. The engagement between snaps 10a, 11a is not performed by a set of snaps, but the snaps of the adjacent sets are engaged with each other. Thus, the snaps are engaged to form a pleat in the curtain 2. Accordingly, the size between the male and female snaps paired at the first is substantially equal to the size of a space between two drapes. By the thus formed pleat forming tool 1, the curtain can be simply fitted without fitting and replacement of a pull braid or the like even in the case of converting a lateral slide curtain to a roll-up curtain.
