<p>Invention relates to the field of medicine and particularly to the pharmacotherapy. Invention provides the use of 5-amino salicylic acid (5-ASS) as a medicine for the basic treatment of rheumatoid arthritis and similar forms of arthritis. This medicine can be used for a long time ( eighteen months) in the treatment of such diseases as agranulocytosis, trombocytopenia, aplastic anaemia etc. without causing severe complications.</p> |
