SUBSTANCE: apparatus has power supply, cubicle-rack, slewing-bracket support, radiator, filter, collimator, diagnostic table, as well as additional filter loosely mounted on radiator or on collimator and made in the form of single plate or set of plates, detachable cradle to receive the infant which is provided with X- ray magazine fastening device and infantÊs movement limiter, as well as pocket to receive the infantÊs head. Apparatus also has cradle displacement and fixing device incorporating base, movable carriage, guides, and handle for locking the cradle in desired position. Carriage has guide slots to provide for crosswise movement of cradle together with carriage and slots to receive guides for longitudinal travel o cradle. EFFECT: improved precision of infantÊs body positioning to obtain high- quality X-ray pictures of infants. 2 dwg
