PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To freely execute the gear shifting operation of a mechanical reduction gear by regulating the rotating speed of a prime motor to the rotating speed of an axle corresponding to the traveling speed of a motor vehicle, considering the change gear ratio by a gear, and synchronizing a pair of gears. SOLUTION: When a driver holds and moves an operation lever in an intended direction, and the operation lever reaches a position for shift preparation, a detecting device detects it and generates a signal. On receiving this signal, a control computer 400 inputs the signal from a rotating speed sensor 510, calculates the intended number of speed judged from the position for shift preparation, and calculates the appropriate input shaft rotating speed of a mechanical reduction gear 200. This speed is compared with the actual speed inputted from a rotating speed sensor 520, and when it is conformed thereto, the intended engagement of gears is selected by a selecting device. When it is not conformed, the rotating speed of a prime motor 100 is regulated through a rotating speed regulating mechanism 50, and this operation is continued until it is conformed. |
