PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a semiconductor from being broken owing to an inclined storing or pinching in a storage part during transportation, or turning upside down, and to improve productivity and reliability. SOLUTION: This tray for storing a semiconductor device has many storage parts formed continuously lengthwise and crosswise on the front and back faces with protrusions 2, 3 positioned to cover the outer periphery of the semiconductor device. The protrusions 2, 3 positioned to cover the outer periphery of the semiconductor device are provided at fixed intervals in two pieces in a straight line along the four sides of the device 4 on the tray front face, and one piece in a straight line along the four sides of the device 4 on the tray back face. When the same type trays are stacked the back face and the front face of two trays are formed to engage with each other.
