PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the position precision of a foundation, facilitate execution and lessen an error by setting a plurality of positioning jig on a batten board set around the foundation to be constructed and positioning the foundation. SOLUTION: A pile 2 is set to be driven around a foundation 2 to be constructed, and a batten board 3 comprising a wooden plate is nail-driven on the pile 2 to be attached horizontally. The positioning jig of the foundation for a girder 4 and the positioning jig of the foundation for a gable end 4B are set and fixed on the batten board 3. A size being a reference is measured and positioned from a reference position on each positioning jig 4, 4B, matched to the hole and a nail is driven on the batten board 3. A thumbscrew is tightened and the jigs 4, 4B are firmly fixed. A nail is driven on the corresponding hole while a display is viewed if necessary. Further, a leveling string 6 is tied on the nail to be tightened. Thereby position precision of a foundation form, an anchor bolt or the like for determining the inner and outer sizes of the foundation can be improved as compared with a case disusing the jig.
